3D vibrations reconstruction with only one camera

In this paper, we propose a new method to measure the vibrations of 3D mechanical structure. It requires only video sequence taken by single camera and Finite Element model First, intrinsic extrinsic parameters are identified. Then, collection numerical deflection shapes normal modes projected in image frame camera. This is done thanks linearization perspective projection model. Comparing motion targets seen at same location gives time evolution amplitude. Finally reconstructed 2D world frame. By following procedure, vibration amplitude can be magnified applying scale factor on modal basis covering large frequency bandwidth.
